Make Crawling Easier With these Toys Which Help Your Baby To Crawl
From crawl mats to crawl tunnels, toys that help with crawling are becoming increasingly popular among parents.
These toys strengthen the back, arm and leg muscles which is necessary for a baby to learn how to crawl.
Truth be told, you don't need these toys if you don't want to. But as a mother, I have always found these toys very useful with holding a child's attention for the longest possible time.
Plus, when they're as little as they are it is sometimes nice to have your hands off and be able to drink your coffee while you're watching him, right?
Want to help your infant to learn how to crawl? These toys might just do the trick.
Tummy Time Fun Frog Activity Mat
Toys that encourage your child to lie on her tummy are the best ones that help with crawling. In this position, babies get to practice supporting their bodies with their arms and legs. This is important in that they learn the basics in crawling and secondly, they strengthen their muscles too.
So what kinds of toys are we talking about? Right now, I suggest the following toys:
- baby crawling mats or play mats
- bay crawl tunnel
- a floor mirror
The Activity Gym
If you only had to buy one of the three products above, then the activity gym it is. What I like most about this is that this can grow with your baby and you'll most likely be using this for the longest time than the other toys that help with crawling.
At first, your child may be lying on his back on these ones, but the TRICK HERE is to encourage him to lie down on his tummy. This position is best for getting your child ready to crawl.
Have an activity gym that has bright colors and interesting sounds that will interest him for the longest possible time. Also have toys which will encourage him to look up to work those neck muscles as well.

Mirror Toys To Help With Crawling
Here are some mirroy toys for babies that help with crawling
Mirror.....mirror...on the floor and get your child happy. For us who've had babies, we know just how magical a mirror is for these little munchkins! The outline of their faces on that mirror usually excites many babies know end.
For this reason, mirrors are great toys to help with crawling. Put your baby on the floor for tummy time and then prop the mirror just in front of him and you can be assured that she will stay on that tummy for a long time.
Note: remember to use only those mirrors that don't break!

And then there are these mats and toys that puts baby on their tummy. You can usually do this just by putting a rolled towel just under your baby's tummy so that she is positioned in such a way that she could lift up and support herself with her hands.
AT any rate, these tummy time toys have lots of bells and whistles in them which makes them worth buying.

Baby Crawling Socks, Pants And Other Accesories
I really don't think the following crawling accessories are all that important for your baby to learn how to crawl.
They do however make crawling comfortable. I tried calling with my baby once and it's not an easy one. Your hands and knees do get a bit sore. Of course they're more flexible than us. But still, it's nice to feel that you're doing the best to make your child's crawling experience as smooth as possible.
